For sites that has been developed manually and not using a platform such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal ... can use Hitsteps too.
You need to manully add tracking code in your website pages.
If your website has a footer.php , footer.asp , global.footer.php or something like that then you can simply paste the tracking code before </body> tag and they will usually show Hitsteps code on all of your pages automatically.
If your website is simple html and it does not have a footer file then you will need to manually open each file and paste the Hitsteps tracking code at the end of every html file ( recommended place is before </body> tag.
